Taiwan today is well-known for having the best computer goods in the market, and many tourists and businessmen alike do purchase them here for a lower price than in their home country. Computer goods are still the most common item to bring home from Taiwan and the place to look for computers in Taipei is : the Guang Hua Digital Plaza, Civic Blvd., near the intersection with Xin Sheng Rd. Shops there open from 9 am to 10 pm. On weekends, many shops are not open before 11 am. Be advised, however, that English is rarely spoken and care must be taken as the system may not be compatible globally. Make sure to get an English version of the instruction manual ...
