Restaurant Guide

Here in Taiwan, food is one of the most appealing factors of every day life. In much of the local culture, people don't eat because they need to, but instead the food here is so amazing we eat for the sake of eating! Taiwan has a variety of foods ranging from the local Taiwanese dishes to glamorous Italian restaurants. We've included a few of our favorite choices below, and we hope you'll enjoy them as much as we do.

Nanajyoutatsu Yakiniku

The Seven Dragons Yakiniku is famous for their dim light, wooden tables and chairs however most of all the mouthwatering aroma of teriyaki. They offer U.S. Prime class beef, New Zealand PS class Fillet and Bear Shrimp from Brunei. The top quality marbled beef, which has evenly distributed fat although the beef does not taste greasy at all, has conquered the taste buds of many gourmets.

Chun Shui Tang

Chun Shui Tang is a chain restaurant which specializes in an assortment of Chinese teas, including Taiwan's island-wide classic drink: Bubble Tea. Bubble Tea is milk tea with tapioca, and we dare say that Chun Shui Tang's milk tea is one of the best on the island. Other than its famous teas, Chun Shui Tang is also known for dishes of snacks including sweet potato fries, squid, breads, and flavored tofu. If you're looking for a lunch or dinner though, this restaurant also provides excellent meals, for instance, eel rice and beef noodles. No matter what time or which meal, Chun Shui Tang is a superb choice with its scrumptious array of foods and drinks.

Capricciosa

Capricciosa is an Italian restaurant with a complete menu including appetizers, salads, soups, pastas, pizzas, and delicious desserts. Under each course of the meal Capricciosa also doesn't fail to provide a large variety of dishes for people different tastes. One can find escargots to croquettes in just the appetizer course. Capricciosa furthermore provides the calzone, a dish which is uncommon in Taiwan and even have different fillings for these delicious and unique pizzas. The large variety of different dishes found available at Capricciosa allows anyone to leave with a 100% satisfied stomach.

Cafe Grazie

Looking for an affordable yet specialized Italian meal? Cafe Grazie provides you with the opportunity to taste Italian cuisine with a Taiwanese twist. With many branches across Taipei, Cafe Grazie is easily accessible for everyone at every time. You can order a single dish or if you're hungry, for an additional small fee, you can make it a set meal. From pizzas to pasta to appetizers to desserts, allow your taste buds a trip down the streets of Taiwanese Italy. We highly recommend their pasta, which is inexpensive but tastes authentic. Dining at Cafe Grazie is truly an Italian but also Taiwanese experience.

Ding Tai Feng

If you have friends in Taiwan or have been here before, you probably have heard of Ding Tai Feng. It's not an exaggeration when we tell you that if you haven't been to Ding Tai Feng, you can't say you've visited Taiwan. Ding Tai Feng with its various soups and dim sum is part of the Chinese experience. Famous for its Xiao Long Bao, every dish of Ding Tai Feng is delicately made and will tingle your taste buds, making you crave the next bite.
