2010 Hawk-Watching Events

Taiwan lies on a major migration route for the gray-faced buzzard hawks, also known as gray-faced vulture or south-flying eagles. With an average of 20,000 gray-faced buzzard hawks expected to transit through Taiwan each year.

During the hawk watching season, the Wild Bird Society of Changhua joins the administration office to host the Hawk Watching Events. On Saturday, March 20 at 9.00am in Baguashan Mountain Range Visitors Center, Changhua City Guashan Rd. # 13 – 7, tour guides volunteer to introduce visitors to the migrating hawks. Free shuttle buses are arranged from Changhua City Train Station, 8.00am – 4.00pm.
