Flowers

The air is full of flowers wherever you go or look and this means only one thing; Spring! In Taipei city we have more than that - the Taipei International Flora Exposition is on going until April 25 2011. Make sure to visit the expo, at least once.

Apart from the Expo, this is the time of the year to go hiking, or why not take a bicycle tour in the mountains to enjoy the Cherry Blossoms or the Hakka Blossom festival. Bicycles are available for rent in many places, check with your hotel. You can read more about the festivals on page 28 and page 40.

The Taipei International Cycle Show will take place from March 16 - 19 at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall. On the last day, March 19, the Show will be open to the public but with no "on the spot sales". However, you can have a look at the very latest within the "bicycle world".

If you need inspiration about what to do during your spare time - like shopping and sight seeing - look at page 26 and 28 if you are in Taipei, otherwise go to our web page:www.taiwanthismonth.com and find "your" city for more advice.

On page 22 we have written about three Chinese restaurants, all very different - one Taiwanese, one traditional Cantonese and one fusion modern Chinese cuisine - all with very interesting interior design and tantalizing food.

Art comes in many forms and if you are looking for pieces of art to bring home, please check out our back cover and go to the web page: www.cgoodcorp.com

It can also be a museum like the Museum of World Religions which displays many different pieces of art. For the address, please go to page 15.

Have a nice time in Taiwan
