The France Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Taipei (CCIFT)-a non-profit organization established in 1991-is part of the global network of French chambers of commerce and industry (75 countries, more than 25,000 companies). The CCIFT offers the following services:

1-Business support, market evaluation: Largely represented by French companies, CCIFT members (both small and large companies) are a cross-section of the French presence in Taipei. Sectors of activity extend from commodities trading to high technology and services. The CCIFT offers support to French companies - present or not in Taiwan - interested in the Taiwanese market (buying, selling or investing). Conversely, the CCIFT supports Taiwanese companies looking to develop partnerships in France.

2-Support for Taiwanese and French companies at international exhibitions: The CCIFT also organizes missions to and for French/Taiwanese suppliers and scheduling one-on-one meetings with buyers during exhibitions in France or Taiwan. The CCIFT can also set up French pavilions at international exhibitions.

3-Office leasing: With three private offices and two open desks, the CCIFT provides enterprises with administrative support.

4-Employment service: The CCIFT's large database of resumes and profiles enables companies to better recruit new cross-cultural staff. It posts job offers for both French and Taiwanese nationals, while expediting visa procedures for French interns.

5-Training courses, community activities, social gatherings: The CCIFT has a wide range of events such as its annual Bastille Day Dinner, Beaujolais Nouveau wine party, wine tasting dinners and member nights. The Chamber also organizes several workshops to provide for member needs.

6-Access to the CCIFT network: Members get access to CCIFT resources regarding nearby markets, such as China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

7-Special members services: CCIFT members holding foreign passports can make use of the Speedy Immigration Service at Taoyuan International Airport.

8-Consulting Services: The CCIFT engages in sourcing and market observation to provide information and assistance to French investors developing their businesses in Taiwan.
