American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei

Taiwan's Largest, Oldest and Most Influential
Grouping of International Business - Not Just for Americans

The American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (AmCham) is a non-profit, non-partisan business organization dedicated to promoting the interests of international business in Taiwan. In the 57 years since its founding, AmCham has become the largest, most effective business organization in Taiwan. With nearly 1,000 members representing nearly 500 companies, AmCham speaks with collective authority on international business matters in every sector of the economy.

AmCham coordinates the activities of 20 plus working committees to address advocacy issues and provide opportunities for professional and business development. Committees include, for example, Banking, Capital Markets, Education and Training, Human Resources, Insurance, Marketing & Distribution, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical and Technology.

In addition, the Chamber organizes presentations with speakers that include world-renowned economists and politicians, management gurus and academic experts. These events provide the opportunity for meaningful interaction among AmCham members and a basis for broadening contacts within Taiwan's business community.
