COVER STORY

Taipei International Flora Expo

The Pavilion of New Fashion, is a fascinating structure of recycled Pet bottles that has eco-friendly and energy-efficient LED lights inside. The bottles also let the daylight enter to give the extraordinary clothes shine in their own fabulous way. Most impressive creations with a lot of symbolism! It must be seen.

The Celebrity's House is the first exhibition that uses a combination of technology and art to explore and interpret the life of legendary singer Teresa Teng, one of the most famous pop singers in the Mandarin-speaking world in the 1970s and 1980s.

The Pavilion of Culture is a most incredible work of craftsman's paper cutting and carving - from fruits to stone and ivory. Some of the stone carvings are so small you need to use a magnifying glass to be able to see the design! Absolutely fascinating to learn how the artists are able to create such marvelous pieces of art.

An animated 3D film is projected inside the Yuan Shan Park, with the title "Face the Reality of the Earth" letting us know about natural disasters in Taiwan. This short movie tells us about a little boy who experiences a typhoon that triggers a landslide. The fact that it is a 3D film makes it much more intense.
